Music often brings out emotions in us that are beyond description in words.  When music is used in worship, that music can focus both on God’s gifts to us, and our response in love and giving.  “He who sings prays twice,” Luther once said.

The Sanctuary Choir leads God’s people at Holy Cross in worship each Sunday from September to June, as well as on special occasions.  They lead the people’s song — we all sing better with some encouragement — and sing in their anthems of praise of God and words of consolation and reassurance to us.

The choir rehearses each Thursday at 7:30 PM, in the church sanctuary.  They work hard, laugh often, and are always welcoming people to join them.
